Atos delivers first Quantum Learning Machine in Spain to CESGA

The Atos Quantum Mastering Equipment (QLM) which is now operational, will help CESGA specialists, builders, and consumers to establish, optimize and check quantum applications and products. It will be used for European exploration initiatives that CESGA is at present operating on, in collaboration with college and sector scientists, in the areas of science and technologies these kinds of as nanotechnology, new components and industrial processes, well being and everyday living sciences and ocean sciences. Atos will also offer a teaching program and continue to enhance the system during its life span to make sure that it provides the operation needed.

This shipping and set up of the Atos Quantum Mastering Equipment QLM-thirty simulator, which will permit the advancement, optimization and tests of quantum applications, is framed in just Atos’ prior deal for the offer and set up of the common objective scientific and technological supercomputing and facts storage resolution Finisterrae III.

Agnès Boudot, Senior Vice President, Head of HPC & Quantum at Atos, explained “We’re honored to be providing the to start with quantum simulator in Spain and search forward to supporting CESGA and the Spanish science and exploration group to establish and experiment with quantum software to be organized for the upcoming period of quantum computing.”

All set for the Quantum Age

Combining an extremely-compact, superior-driven device with a common programming language, the Atos Quantum Mastering Equipment enables scientists and engineers to establish and experiment with quantum software. It is the world’s only quantum software advancement and

simulation equipment for the coming quantum computer system period. The Atos QLM simulates the habits of a quantum computer system, which means that quantum algorithms can be designed without having the will need for quantum components. The system paves the way for optimizing digital quantum simulation in the to start with intermediate-scale quantum computer systems to be promoted in the coming several years (termed NISQ – Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum).

Atos QLM Local community

Because its launch, the Atos QLM consumer group has not stopped rising. The system is being used in a lot of nations around the globe such as Austria, Brazil, Finland, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Senegal, United kingdom and the United States, empowering big exploration packages in different sectors like sector or electricity.

Atos’ bold program to foresee the future of quantum computing – the ‘Atos Quantum’ program – was launched in November 2016. As a end result of this initiative, Atos was the to start with corporation to offer a quantum sound simulation module in just the Atos QLM and the to start with common quantum metrics reference “Q-score”, which is applicable to all programmable quantum processors.
