The Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) of the United Nations has signed an agreement with the Andhra Pradesh Federal government to train the farmers in very good farm administration procedures and sustainable agricultural strategies.
The Technological Cooperation Challenge, which was signed by the two sides in the presence of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday, seeks to expose the farmers, scientists and officials of the Agriculture Department to the new technological equipment.
“The FAO also agreed to help the Rythu Bharosa Kendrams (RKBs),” a Federal government assertion claimed.
